Jon Moe is a 30+ year fashion photography veteran with clients such as Esquire, Vouge, Givenchy, and National Geographic.
Spend two (2) days with Jon in the famous 30th Street Studio, learning his process for managing a full photoshoot from pre-production all the way to post.
He'll cover subjects such as concept creation and execution, lighting systems, set and backdrop selection, shoot management, model selection, working with other industry professionals (stylists, hair, and make up professionals), managing and collaborating with clients, and much more!
During both days you'll have hands on instruction, taking photos with your camera and receiving real time feedback, tips, and critiques from Jon and his assistants. These photos are yours to use for your portfolio, social media, or other uses.
The agenda for both days is as follows:
9:30 AM - Arrive at 30th Street Studio in midtown Manhattan.
10 AM - Class begins.
12:30 PM - Break for lunch.
1:15 PM - Class resumes.
3:45 PM - 15 minute break.
4 PM - Q & A session with Jon.
5 PM - Set and lighting design and set up for next day.
9 AM - Arrive at 30th Street Studio for breakfast and coffee.
9:30 AM - Jon demonstrates finetuning the set with a client.
10 AM - Photoshoot begins.
12 PM - Break for lunch.
12:45 PM - Student photoshoot resumes.
3 PM - Hands on post-production working session.
5 PM - Final remarks and Q & A with Jon.
